Christopher Bell Appreciation Thread

I appreciate Bell more than ever. Time for me to be driver-centric for a change. Can't wait to get down there! LFG!

I have said it before, if Rick Ferkle thinks he is the best driver he has ever seen, then that's good enough for me. Plus, from my understanding Rick says he is a great kid too!

Who let that felon out?

“Christopher Bell is a heck of a talent. I watched him in the sprints and midgets, watched him race. He has an awesome amount of talent. Joe Gibbs, his organization is one of the best,” Hendrick said.

It must be mind games!

Joe Gibbs & Josh Harris-Blitzer & Ty Gibbs Racing sucks.

C-Bell should be running dirt track 25-50 races a year like KL.

Kinda wish Christopher would move over to Stewart Haas Racing one of these years. He can showcase some personality.

SHR won 0 races last year. Points were not awarded for personality. I saw plenty of Christopher's personality with his wins and a place in the Round of 4. He smiles a lot.

Has anyone ever been able to say anything about a Yota that you have been able to hold your mud without continuously disagreeing with them?

Doesn’t matter. He’s 2nd fiddle at Ty Gibbs Racing behind Denny & Ty.

He can run more dirt track races @ SHR.

Here is one big reason C.Bell ain't happy.

He is very happy. Sat next to him and his wife on the train at SFO. They smiled and giggled the whole time. Adorable.

He likes NASCAR. If he didn’t he would be on dirt. Larson said he could make more. He chooses not to. Do you wonder why?

I have absolutely no respect for the Preacher, Joe Gibbs. I have dealt with Bible thumpers off and on for years and they are all the same, they will try and skin you every chance they get. I thought Joe's Son was a really good man, shame he passed so young.

A guy aligning himself with Josh Harris & David Blitzer is far from one, for sure.

While I try to refrain from clumping anybody into a group, I hear what you are saying. My point has always been that the savage nature of Coach's business acumen is not uncommon, and becomes vile to those who see his Christianity as a contradiction. I get it....but I view Coach from the perspective of who he is as an owner....and honestly, his decency in this capacity. I get that some feel that what went down with Furniture Row is indecent, but my line isn't there....Indeed, Coy was an interesting man. I think that he grew into his responsibility at JGR. His leadership wasn't the plan....this was JD's company, but Coy adapted. From the perspective of his input into Ty's career, one only needs to find the last interview he ever did.

Anyone who wants to know a bit more about C Bell's time spent racing sprint cars will probably enjoy this interview with him. The primary focus is the time he had spent over the years with Rick Ferkle. Rick lived in my old "hometown" and was always one of my favorites. He recently passed away. A true outlaw.
It's also interesting to note, that Bell doesn't come from a "racing family" and didn't have any silver spoons helping him. I began watching him when he first drove for Rick and to this day I really admire the type of driver and person he has become.

Thank you for this....and it's nice to know that the Toyota Racing Driver Development Program helped him along the way as well. I really like CBell.

And he has one of his Chili Bowl - winning midgets in his living room.

Hero.
