No rain on the South Side yet and the storms coming in from southwest of the city could possibly go north of downtown Chicago and only drench the Cub game at Wrigley Field.

The sport from where it was started or to where it is today? I am still pissed they have not gotten rid of those girly, girly single lug formula type wheels and rims. Now this....
 
Oh brother…the tour of the 23XI “Air Speed” facility…Professor Hamcrap displayed his narcissistic magnificence throughout the video. I’m sure his several fans appreciated it.

The pre-race really tried to play up the Larson - Hams#*+ confrontations…hope the 11 gets pinballed into a dumpster.

The facts are probably that more were coming into the city than were leaving considering the festivities over the 4th weekend. But bottom feeders :idunno:

I just drove back to my house south on I41 and it was packed with blue plates headed south.

If you had to deal with them all summer long and during hunting seasons, you'd understand. They have terrible behavior and generally have zero respect for our regulations and outdoor resources.

So you've met every single one of them, and found the asses are only from Chicago, and no one from there is a responsible outdoorsman. That must be tiring.

Totally agree. I live on a lake here in Wisconsin and the FIBs fill up the area almost every weekend. The DNR has a boat limit, the FIBers just ignore that. They somehow feel that they have entitlement of superiority when they come up here. No respect for others private property or conscious respect for people that live here year-round.
Tie up to my dock as if they are allowed to use it and when I connected a 24V Semi Truck battery bank to the dock, one tried to sue me because he was flopping around like a fish out of water when he touched two of the metal posts. Thankfully, the court understood that the system was for pier lights ;), and he shorted it by becoming the ground.
They also think they can drive race cars, obviously not, at least around here. They are lucky to make a semi at Slinger. The ones away from Chicago land are not too bad, but we do not consider those FIBs.

I grew up on Lake Winnebago and it was a constant fight with them around there. They don't understand how to use a boat launch at all. When you pull up be ready to put the boat in the water. Don't take off the cover, take all your stuff out of the vehicle and put it in the boat, take the straps off the boat......

Now we have a cabin in central WI and they are terrible when it comes to running ATV's and SXS's. Don't even get me started on how bad they are come hunting season. Like we always say - "If Chicago is so good, then why do you leave there whenever you have free time and come here?"

Besides my residence on a well-known lake, have two hundred forty acres up in Marinette County, we have to maintain constant vigilance during the hunting season to ward them off. The property has sixteen cameras on 24/7... mostly because of the FIBs. My grandparents lived just outside Fish Creek, in Door County, and the FIBs thought they could camp on their property when Peninsula Park was filled. My uncle, the sheriff, was always chasing them away. I would have just shot them.

Dude, I have news for you. This stuff happens on every lake in the country that'll float a pontoon. And it's not just the visitors; locals do it to. I've seen it on Lake Mead in Nevada, I've seen it on Lakes Murray and Marion in SC, I've seen on the Intracoastal Waterway in SC and NC.

But you guys go on thinking it's just Chicagoans visiting WI, and that the boaters and fishermen on every other lake in North America are law-abiding, license-toting, Coast Guard Auxiliary-inspected, DMV-registered, and have both working tail lights on the trailers and no beer in the boat.

So true. We had two drown one cove over. I have swam there many times, sandy bottom with a very gradual deepening WTF. Over at the western arm, one boat ran over the other and it sunk. I used to sail almost every day after work, but you wouldn't catch me out there during the holiday weekends. Too many half drunk stink boat drivers.
