Tyler is good. I am glad WE have him.....but......It feels to me like when he has to race for it, he comes up short. I think he has yet to take that "closer" step in his career?

.....and I am not sure that I love the "I'm so sorry" stuff.....Ya makin' friends, or trying to win races?

👍 He damn well better be trying to win races. Make friends after the race, not during the final twenty-five laps. Aggressive? No more aggressive than the move Buscher made passing on the apron and the slide job on Reddick. Buscher got away with it, Reddick did not.

He has the talent equivalent of MJ, but the grace, composure and IQ of game 7 Denny. Maybe they see the same shrink. 🤷‍♂️

When we are talking about stupid, Denny can never be left out?
Denny can be left out of, need some new material after 10 years of the same schtick.

Reddick over cooked the pass attempt, but Buescher was already in the wall to begin with before they even made contact. Reddick is a fantastic talent, he has moments where he pulls it off. Sometimes he doesn't, no different from any other driver seen before.

Hate it ruined both of their days because it was fantastic racing either way. Buescher was going to be a dead man walking either way because he scrubbed the wall hard and Reddick's divebomb compounded the issue.

Thanks for the fantasy. The reality was I saw a driver(Reddick) try to make a pass out of desperation and he muffed it. He looked like a damn fool.

I mean, did you not see Buescher was into the wall before Reddick even touch him?

Nvm, I got to realize you're always right. It's not even a discussion at this point.

Drivers were into the wall all day, so what.

Revman, my friend! Are you in with a bad crowd? Do you need help? You’re appreciating a man who does nothing but choke away victories, wreck other people and pretends to apologize so he doesn’t get beat up, and ultimately has underperformed throughout his career despite being hyped up as a generational talent?

Tyler Reddick should not be appreciated. He is a fraudulent star and his entire career can be defined by one word. “Almost.” He’s a B+ driver at best.

I am sorry Smoke. I will do better.

Brad was reeling them both back in on the long run and had already put Reddick in the wall just a bit earlier. Buescher gave Reddick the high line through 1 and I think he thought that run out of 2 was going to be his chance before Brad got back to him. He just got loose in the middle of the corner. Tough break for both, but nothing malicious.

Reddick was as excited as Truex was lol.

I am a Larson fan but good for Reddick. He is a really good driver and very deserving. He was especially strong during the later part of the regular season.

Honestly, he was good, but I am not sure he deserved it. Larson gifted it to him, but WE will take it. The championship goes through Larson.

He earned the most points based on the rules or criteria. He isn't perfect, but he is a clean racer and good enough to do what was needed.

He is worthy imo.

Fair enough. I thought the win v. Byron at Michigan was his coming of age. He has elevated 23XI for sure. Happy for him.

Reddick is so much fun to watch. So many times he is in front only to fade to mid-to-back of the pack and then, surprisingly, find him at the front again. He's a true racer and his performance with his physical issues, show he's a true competitor. We all expect drivers playing at this level to always give their very best and he exemplified that in yesterday's race. From it all, he is also season champion!! Well deserved, Tyler. Well deserved.
