I picked up this vise from a friend for free.
Spent an hour freeing it up and getting it working. I went down the Google rabbit hole, I was suprised the money vises are fetching on the open market...
Not sure if I want to use it, or flip it, or restore it...

My uncle worried me to death wanting one that I wasn't using. I finally gave in and let it go, and I regret it.

That’s a nice vice. Value depends on how well the vise works, what shape the jaws are in and overall appearance. We have a lot of old vises in our shop. We have Wilton and Colombian vises. I don’t believe there are any made in the US anymore.
This is an old Colombian 206 vise that I restored a couple years ago.
This vice is in our shop. Weighs 160 lbs without the stand.
I brush painted it with grey POR15.
I later painted the stand to match.
