8.5. Granted it was exciting throughout to see them running three wide lap after lap. The intensity was high and must have put great strain on the drivers knowing one bobble could end their day.
And while that was all very exciting the 28 car pileup in closing laps made me wonder, can't they come up with something better than this? Is this what NASCAR racing is all about? Whomever can survive the big one? Is what the sport is about is long, high speed, close racing knowing that when one driver cuts a tire or makes a slight mistake it ends the day for so many good cars?
I thought the racing was fun to watch but am really questioning NASCARs intent here.
