Thanks. 🐶 Mucho better.

Is your pick gonna’ beat mine? 😇

After careful consideration, and meditative consultation with the trusty ouija board, @ol'whatshisname has decided that Chase Elliott is a good bet for the Las Vegas race.

This could be a huge points day for those chasing @pjmolo, including myself.

My pick had a disastrous pit stop, but he's still in it, and there's plenty of racing left.

“There, but for a small block of tungsten, go I”

Alex Bowman, probably …

Salvaged an 11th place finish. I guess it could've been worse.

So you're telling me there's a chance!?

I had to use a shiet box and got a 27th out of Stenhouse. I could have picked Nemecheck, who could have known that he would get at top 10.

I think I had an ok pick for once. Saved him for end of season when it mattered. ;)

I had Suarez available, but thought it was a good idea to save him for later...

There's a lot of luck involved in this game.

Congratulations to @aunty dive, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of his pick, Joey Logano, in the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

An on-going streak within the game is that the race winner has been picked by at least one player in each of the last nine races and eleven out of the last twelve. Not too shabby.

The "Most Upward Movement" award was taken by @LewTheShoe as he gained three positions in the standings thanks to the second place finish of his pick, Christopher Bell.

After sharing the award following the last race, the "Slipping & Sliding" award was won out-right by @Michfan when his pick, Tyler Reddick, put on a topsy-turvy carnival show in wrecking his car, which caused @Michfan to drop four spots in the standings.

The "Top Five" club remained unchanged for the sixth consecutive race but standings leader @ol'whatshisname took a huge hit and saw his lead over the second position reduced to 16 points when his pick, Chase Elliott, got caught up in the middle of a painful threesome that left the #9 car used, abused, and hurtin' for certain, resulting in Elliott limping home to a 33rd place finish.

As a result of Elliott's disastrous finish and the Top Five finishes of the picks made by @aunty dive, @Spotter22, and @dirtfan, the Chase for the Pick 'Em Championship has turned into a truly competitive battle with three races remaining.

The hottest player in the game continues to be @Magicmiler whose picks have scored a Top Ten finish in each of the last five races, including four Top Fives. Now sitting in ninth place in the standings it remains to be seen if he can still make a serious bid for the game's Championship.

This seasons championship is going to go down to the wire. I'm not expecting to win the whole thing, but definitely making a bid for a top 5 finish in the final standings.

That said, stranger things have happened. Some luck in the next few races and I'm back in business. All the chips are going to have to fall perfectly if I want to contend.

Good luck to all participants, especially those in contention. It has been a fun season.

Thanks @pjmolo for making this game possible.
