This will be a philosophical post.

Senna is a hero of mine I grew up watching him in the rain in Monaco in a car that was inferior dominating.

This low grip challenge made me fall in love with racing. My question to my fellow forum members is do you think a lady will be able to encapsulate what Sennsbrought to the table?

Jade is the most pure racer that I can think of off the top of my head that comes to mind. I don't think Deegan or Danica excel in low grip conditions as much as Jade does. I know that Deegan comes from a dirt background but it just seems that Jade has well I'll say it Jade is the real dirt princess.

I want my kids to see a lady dominate the track like Senna did. I hope to see it before I die.

I mean someday perhaps, but we need any level of high level success before we go for putting anyone among the GOATs

Could that happen? Sure. Will it before motorsports ceases to be relevant? I dunno. Seems possible given that women are approximately half the population globally.

IMO the crazy anger of testosterone just isn't there for the open wheel pinnacle.

Females have done great in NHRA though without the beating and banging.
You hear of younger females having success in the amateur ranks of karting
on up to late model. Learned a long time ago to never say never.

It's certainly not impossible but I think it's more likely in a less physically demanding championship like NASCAR or WRC.

Michele Mouton came pretty close and that was 40 years ago.

NASCAR races are like 3-4 hours long and the season has 36 races. How is that physically less demanding?
