Has JGR Lost a Step?

Kinda suprising. They've had speed but not like earlier this year

They did not like Pockrass asking that question. Of course the gerbils have remained silent.

Frankly it’s their driver roster. Outside of Bell and Hamlin, the other two have underachieved all year. You have just two drivers that are threats to win each week when JGR are up to speed, maybe help is on the way with Briscoe

Sold out Joe and the Yotas are frantically ratcheting thru drivers looking for the next Kyle Busch.

I don’t know, I mean Austin Dillon has a win this season…
He came out of nowhere to win that race and has seemingly gone back there right after.

Thank you so much for starting this thread one week before the Championship. Love this. I've said it before, and I will say it now.....one could use the winning metric and argue that this is the most important measure, and yeah, that is correct. However, I have been a Toyota fan for a long time. I remember 2014. WE didn't win, and WE didn't deserve to. WE were slow. So, go ahead with the no win drama, and then, when you want to be serious about this, take a look at speed, laps lead, and qualifying. I love our performance.

WE suck. Horrible. You are right. Frankly, I'd be more concerned about the Chain Gang's chances if I were in your shoes, but you do you.

Keep beating that dead horse pilgrim, you'll get there. lol.
I agree. He must have missed that tear jerking post about how all of the fans like Kyle now, and his fatherhood. I am still wiping the tears away. You ready for that KB prize pack? Do they still offer that, or did they "right size" that too?

WE already have two drivers with 0 wins this season....

Well, I knew you were busy and all. The gerbils haven't mentioned it either, must have slipped their minds. But you know amid all of the hoop la about the playoffs, cut lines, elimination rounds and all in this win and YOU are in world. Briscoe? he's not going to save ol' Joe.

I think they are okay on speed, they just are not closing out the deal in the final stage.
Nobody is worried at JGR and/or TRD. Nobody.

Bell is in great shape. He got there with your points thing....but now your metric is winning?

Maybe if they give him a decent pair of brakes he will be able to finish the race at least.
Oh I get it! Last year! Bahhaaaaaa. So good. Three Yotas in have you nervous? Of course not, you have the "lottery" bull**** all warmed up.

One of em hit the wall 32 times at Homestead and wrecked 2 cars besides himself lol.
Two of 'em ran just fine. Keep the course.....I think it's going to be a great weekend.

Put the pipe down Rev. The only reason for yotas is the lottery. They haven't won fair and square in years. This year would be no different.

I am not as confident as you are scared....but you have insulated yourself with your year long rant about the system. Pick a system. A Toyota is there. Wins? Reddick did that. Points? I gotcha a Bell. For you? Spins? Getcha a KFB. Skipping races? Well, hello Larsony. Cheating? Ooops, the 48 is out all of sudden. Overrated all to hell? Gimmie a #9 for an also ran.....and you have yourself a Dale Jarrett with the 4 Inmates for the Championship 4 **** as soon as the Playoffs began.

Maybe the Yotas can break their three win championship tie overall with the Hudsons. Oh my, that would be a banner day wouldn't it?

Damn you are desperate. Supposed to have the whole Chain Gang in Phoenix. God, you were going to have a good time. Chin up little buck, there is always next year. The Felon will have a whole offseason to explore weight reduction strategies.

Say we think we can three times.

I wonder how many championships Denny would have under the Chase for the Cup format. Talent is definitely not the issue; he has more wins than Tony Stewart.

He definitely surpassed Mark Martin as the greatest driver to not win a title.

A champion steps up and makes sure it's you
100% on this....and this is why I love the format. 100%. That goes for the teams and crews too. So incredible to be in the presence of that kind of intensity in Phoenix....where there is access to the cars, the teams, and the crews. I don't need access to the drivers...I just want to see them drive.

The beauty of this system is that Denny has an opportunity to achieve greatness today. His best track. From the back. All on the line. Champions respond like Champions. We shall see.

A Denny Hamlin championship would be a feel-good story. Even people that dislike him can't deny that.

14 years ago in the fall Hamlin had his last win at Martinsville. His best track? I would hate to see his worst.
