Long time coming.

I don't watch all the festivities for all the series, I will for this one
Yeah. Was telling my dad anyone else won it, I would’ve not even cared to watch the whole presentation. But Justin’s easily my favorite in the series, so I was definitely gonna watch it.

Andy's frozen custard, the sponsor on Custer's car, is a local company based in MO that has done a ton for local racing over the years, including being the main sponsor of Terry Phillips Racing for probably 15 years or more. I would've enjoyed seeing the Kuntz family up on the stage tonight as well

They’re all over the Springfield area. Funny, I have a gift card that I received years ago that I still haven’t used. I don’t think I’ve ever actually eaten at one, but the Branson, MO location was always insanely busy during the Summer.

There's one a mile down the road from me. Luckily for my waistline, it's a huge PITA to get to

Yet only got a minute or two of coverage after the race. This playoff crap puts the actual winner who dominated the race on the back burner and all the other drivers for that matter with little coverage of them. Sad.

Much as I hate defending them, the playoffs have nothing to do with this. For decades, the winner of the season-ending race has been overlooked in favor of the new champion.

No difference than how it was in the80s and 90s, the winner of the final race was always a second thought to the champion.

Yea maybe, but I sure don't recall the incessent hyperventilating of the announcers who actually covered the entire field, not just the guy leading in points.

Several times some only needed to finish 30th or so to be champ, and from memory 1 or 2 only needed to start the race. This is an entirely different scenerio now.
