Did not make the field but was given the Promoters option. Of course I understand why, the stands are packed with Jr fans.

Live coverage on Flo be like:

Brutal feed. Ghosting, buffering and when neither of those is happening I looks like there’s Vaseline on the camera lens.

Paid about 175.00 for a year and this crap is what I get? Flo has the Derby this year, God help us

10 minute “race break” now 30 minutes old. Do clocks run slower in the Eastern Time Zone?

Worst Flo production I’ve ever seen. Technically inept personnel on site. When the video cleans up for a couple of minutes, the audio goes out. Race-altering crashes do not yield a single frame of replay and the announce team “didn’t see that happen”. Race control, if you can call it that, is just as bad.

And the series co-owner qualified 53rd out of 56 cars that took time and started 41st on a provisional while 15 teams went home.

Track is having MAJOR technical problems.

This is why I do NOT give sponsor reps and non-essential employees from NASCAR or any touring series access to track WiFi. You can only have so many people before you don't have enough bandwidth. And I actually have a backup connection ready to go on the fly at all times.

Not a CARS Tour race. He got a provisional because he's literally the sole reason the stands are packed to capacity.

Race restarted while Flo was off air. Video finally came on without announcer audio … faint engine sounds in the background. No ticker onscreen now. No way to know what lap they’re on and camera shows only the leader and Junior - lap after lap.

Lap 195 and ticker re-appears absent the name of the leader - the box is blank. I guess they can’t spell Lapcevich.

The ticker is pulling data from Race Monitor, which is not very good for broadcasts.

NASCAR and all the streaming partners actually recommend using MyRacePass which is much better across the board.

31 to go. Junior pits from 2nd spot for fuel? during a yellow.

Race restarts. Jr still in the pits, hood off. Race restart called off. LOL

GREEN, GREEN, GREEN. YELLOW! Southern Jesus still on pit road, but the fantabulous BUDWEISER 8 appears to be done for the night in spite of the best efforts of whoever is promoting this 3 ring circus.

And Junior E put on a helluva show from the back to 2nd before suffering a mechanical. He didn’t have enough to get to the 77 in any event.

I’m sure the cult members are expressing their emotions in a suitable manner.😎

Every subscriber should get a free pass for the race next year and I'm gonna be offering that suggestion to a friend that works with flo. Probably wont happen, it sucks having no recourse.

How could you tell? Sorry I'm still pissed

I’m guessing they had a Paul/Tyson like situation where they probably weren’t prepared for how many people actually tuned in to watch the race. You think companies would be better prepared when they know they are going to get a really big audience watching.

Both of those events were streaming. I watched many pay for view fights with Tyson back in the day and there never was a problem seeing them. I think the streaming infrastructure needs work.

That’s what I’m saying. They had more people watching the stream than it could handle. They definitely have to work on it.

So, you have an event that includes the most popular driver in the sport, especially in this area. You have to be completely clueless if you are Flo sports and don't think ahead to make sure you can handle the traffic ESPECIALLY if you are selling a one night PPV for $40! I'm not gonna be out much since I paid for a yearly subscription but if I did the "race only" purchase I would want a refund. They put out notices at 8am that the race was sold out and the parking on property was full. That should have been a red flag

If the infrastructure isn't there to handle it, it doesn't matter what company televises the race. Nascar said they were having network trouble whatever that means.

Yes, exactly. They should’ve prepared way better. I don’t get why they, or Netflix with the fight I mentioned earlier, didn’t prepare better for something that had a lot of hype. It’s bad planning on their part.

You can prepare all ya want. If the infrastructure system can't handle it, it doesn't matter which company broadcasts it. Netflix or Flo or whoever.

FloRacing and NASCAR Productions need to be better prepared.

I've dealt with every single one of these streaming companies. I've told every single one of these companies, when they've come to my track, that I can't provide a consistently reliable connection and recommended they come with their own connection. Whoever Flo subcontracted a couple of our races to, they are the only one of these companies that's ever pushed back and said we had to provide them that connection.

You CANNOT rely on tracks to provide internet in this game. So many of these tracks are located on dirt roads in Podunk Junction and are either using satellite (Starlink) or mobile hotspots.

But Dale Jr. is racing there. Dale Jr. told everybody. Flo is going to pay us. We know our internet is crap, it can't handle the traffic, but pay us anyway.

NASCAR Productions should have been better prepared IMO, and this is probably a learning experience. Often times, the only way to prepare is for it to go wrong one time and learn from it.

Pit Row wouldn’t have had these issues but Tony Stevens is also the best of the best of the best.

That's your opinion, mine is both knew better, the track and the broadcaster, but they both took the money, filled the stands in podunkville and sold more broadcasting.
