Toni Breidinger to trucks full time

Do you apply the same standard to drivers who double as broadcasters?

Are you equally annoyed by female Olympians, professional tennis players, soccer players, golfers, basketball players, etc who have appeared as SI swimsuit models?

The race stuff is not crap. She will have a rougher road due to this. North America us becoming anti immigrant. Even if you have been here for years.

Also FYI if you look back at my posts I said I hope she becomes successful, I just think being in the swimsuit edition is not the right path. Kind of like telling all female racers that they can't be successful unless they're a model. I want someone in racing based on talent, not how they look in a swimsuit.

And now that we know, you and I aren't going to make trouble. Unfortunately, there are plenty of people who will, even if they never watch a second of on-track action.

The ornithologists group that decides North American bird names will be changing those names that honor specific people. Suddenly people who couldn't tell a Cooper's Hawk from a barrel cooper, or a Forster's Tern from a foster child are logging into birding sites to scream. Don't bother pointing them to the ornithology union's justification; TL,DNR.

Man, she fell off a cliff the last several weeks of the season, at least by the standards she set for most of the year.

I think the problem is that 'GET IN THE HOLE!!!' Guy doesn't show up much at the LPGA tournaments, so the balls don't know what to do.

Toni's justification here isn't even necessary IMO. She's simply living her best life and chasing her dreams. I'm not seeing the issue.

Equality means equal. She is subject to be judged like any other Racer, she is a woman but will be expected to perform. That's the way it should be if you want to be accepted in this sport. Top 10's, top 5's and wins. Go be great
 
I hate to pop bubbles on the rah rah she has to win B.S. ...no not really but a dose of reality, before she turns a lap. Toni isn't going to be a great driver in the Truck series. Like ANY driver in Nascar, if they pass the driver's test, have the money or the marketing influence to get a ride they race. Winning is overlooked for other important reasons because Toyota or any OEM for that matter is in the business to sell vehicles.
Clown cars that think every driver in the series is a potential threat to win the championship is blowing smoke up their own ass because no fan who has been around for a minute knows that is not the case.
Toni is going to compete like she has all along in ARCA, she isn't going to win races, maybe some top tens, BUT she is going to be in commercials selling Toyota trucks and for other sponsors because that pays the bills.
The Truck ratings went up 20% when Hailie was racing. They aren't going down then Toni gets behind the wheel because of a few loudmouth haters.

All of this may be true. Id like to see her win though. I'm not sure Toni wants to get into the trucks just to sell new Yoda's however. Imho she would like to win and not be an si swimsuit model.

The modelling funds the racing. I just hope she can do as good in her truck at Tona as she can in front of the camera in a swimsuit.
 
So how many pages for this thread before she washes out and ends up doing something else? Her social media presence is smaller so I'm going with 32.

Well, you go ahead and keep your blinders on. I'm going to enjoy her time in the Truck series, you can do the rah rah, she has to win nonsense.
