NFL 2024-2025

Baker & co. just torching the Chargers defense for 400+
Getting Mike Evans back after the bye has been huge, and McMillan/Irving have come along really well as rookies by this point in the season too. This was the Bucs’ biggest test after the bye and they’ve passed with flying colors.

Sure seems like the Jonathan Taylor TD that was called back sucked all the life out of the Colts, as it’s been all Denver since. What a backbreaking play. A Bengals defender did the same thing on a fumble return earlier today. How are we still doing that in 2024?

The Steelers had just two possessions and held the ball for less than six minutes in the second half.

That's remarkable. That's exactly the game they want to play, to have it handed to them like that is something.

Also this has been quite a turnaround for the Bucs after they lost some heartbreakers and dropped to 4-6.

Full disclosure, I have watched the final two minutes of this game, because CBS thought I wanted to watch bonus coverage.

It’s going to end as a one possession game, but it was really a dominant performance by Buffalo from what I saw.

It was an uphill climb for the Lions no matter what, but Campbell wasted four minutes on the early onside kick gambit. That took it from a 10 point game with 12 minutes to go to a 10 minute game with 8 minutes to go. The defense deserved a shot there, and Buffalo has a long history of failing in those high stakes moments.

The Bills' offense looks world class, but their defense has given up 40+ two straight weeks now. Hard to call them dominant for that reason.

The Lions are going to head into the playoffs with at least half of their starting defense on IR, plus probably another nine or ten depth pieces. As explosive as their offense is, all of that talent and depth missing on the other side is reaching a point where you simply won’t be able to overcome it come January.

It's just so frustrating. Our defense has been a weak spot for so long. Then when we finally get a decent defense, they all get injured. I just want to win a championship so bad, but it feels like there's always going to be something preventing that from happening.

"The Eagles defense held the Steelers to just 163 total yards. That is the Steelers fewest yards in a game in 14 years. And the Eagles are the only team in the NFL this year to hold three different teams to under 175 total yards in a game. Eagles defense is giving up under 14 points a game during this 10 game winning streak, best in the NFL" from John Clark

Detroit signed Anthony Pittman from the Jags practice squad. Crazy how much shopping we’ve had to do as of late. Probably not a good sign that I don’t really know who he is.

Raheem pulled the plug quicker than I expected, but you can’t say it isn’t warranted. What in the hell went wrong so quickly? Penix is a dawg though, look forward to seeing him get real playing time now.
