I can't find a thing besides better lights and a safer barrier. Those pictures look like they jacked it up and drove a brand new race track under it. I don't think they have the time, they should have started earlier. I think they have made it look like they cleaned the place up. :idunno:

It's gonna be so strange watching Cup cars at Bowman Grey. A good friend of mine, know as Double A gave me a very cool gift yesterday.

I dont think that is an option, doesnt Wake Forrest still play football at he staduim.
 
They need to have the Mods as a companion event that weekend
 
Maybe they will put everybody in Bandoleros painted up to look like Nascars and hope we won't know the difference.

Yes, but no worse than where they were last year. Cup cars should not be running on a track that is shorter than a half mile.
 



This is a great piece done in 2005 about Bowman Gray. WSSU still plays football there. Wake Forest played football there back in the 60's until their stadium was built.

The LA race was cool for a year but really don't think NASCAR should have kept going back to a place that NASCAR will get lost in. Too much do in LA. Also Let's be honest, people don't have the attention span to sit down and watch a boring 3 or 4 hour race anymore.

Tracks are have been reducing grandstand seating for a reason. I like it for a one off race just don't want them to keep doing it. I feel like it belongs at Daytona.

Happy first post. It's refreshing to see a new poster that doesn't have an opinion about the racing. Lol just kidding. Jump in and get wet. It takes a thick skin round here, we really have some of the most informed racing fans here on the web and they are loud.
