College Football 2024

I can’t cry for anyone who got “snubbed” from a 12-team playoff - which is the only way any of those teams would’ve been in contention.

Also, there’s probably a good discussion to be had about the schedule luck in these giantass super conferences meaning Indiana played one of the top six teams in the Big Ten. But that doesn’t consolidate more money in the hands of the rich.
I have a feeling the heavyweight schools are gonna start putting cupcake schedules together again like the BCS days.

Alabama plays one good OOC game per year, if that. If they’re that upset about losing to a pair of 6-6 SEC teams they should either try winning those types of matchups or join the Sun Belt.

So maybe Indiana’s best win being against Michigan was a sign after all. Fun run nonetheless.

With Georgia’s QB issues, Notre Dame look like they have a path to the national championship game.
Might have been the best win but Nebraska was the most fun.

Penn State's white out yet does not wear all white tricking their opponent into wearing all white to then trick them into throwing to blue jersey team thinking it's them.

Sun shines on a dog's ass some days. This year was IU's day. Good for them.

South Dakota State/North Dakota State…good playoff football. Hell of a catch by Trey Lance’s little brother.

8 teams should’ve been the absolute max. Max. Hell, 4 was enough more often than not. This has been a dreadful weekend.

And this College Football Playoff nonsense goes on for a whole month.

Should be six teams. And the only conference champion that should be guaranteed a spot is the SEC Champion.

Of course it be Tennessee to embarrass the SEC on a national scale at a level not seen before in their very first CFP berth.

Ohio State at their best are absolutely a top 3 team in the country. I think it’s ridiculous Oregon has to rematch them again in the quarterfinal round. This format is a mess.

Penn States path is a joke.

An easy fix would be to just reseed them after the first round if they decide to not make any changes.

Regardless it’ll be fascinating to see what changes will be made.

Boise is no joke. Boise lost on a last second field goal to Oregon at Oregon.
This is true. But that was the first or second game of Oregons season and they didn’t really hit their stride till about week 4 or 5 IIRC.

They’re also 11 point dogs so Vegas is telling us what they think of Boise.

We shall we 😎

Four straight duds in the opening round, hopefully business picks up in the quarterfinals.

Rooting for Texas out of everyone left, feeling like a SEC CCG rematch in the final right now.

They've never played a D line like Penn State. Penn State is gonna load the box.

I bet none of the sports media folks who talked about how bad SMU and Indiana played showing “they didn’t belong.” will say anything about Tennessee playing badly. They got beat worse than Indiana even. Same amount of points, 17, but Ohio State scored more than ND did. Just will show the bias they got to the sec, and I say they as a fan of a team in the conference.

I think they are the best team when they are at their best.

Indiana's game was the closest of the four.
