College Football 2024

My grandpa has always been a big Notre Dame fan, but I couldn’t stand them for all those years with Brian Kelly as HC. They’ve done a 180 in the likability department with Marcus Freeman, imo. A fantastic person and leader of young men. Good for he and the Irish.
 
James Franklin, on the other hand, is the Michael Jordan of Ryan Days…until Day actually wins the title next week.

I love cracking jokes in Franklin…and he still hasn’t won a big game. But Allard was the big loser tonight IMO. Like you said his draft stock was ready to explode if played well tonight. Instead he laid a big ole egg and threw the game away for his team.

Allar was terrible throughout but I really hated settling for a FG at the 3 after marching down the field in the first quarter. Not a good way to set the tone and could’ve put themselves in position to sit on the ball at the end for the win.

I also thought Notre Dame came out of the half with a better sense of urgency, Penn State did virtually nothing in the 3rd.

Ultimately I think they were fortunate to even be here though. Going forward I think the semifinal is pretty much their ceiling.

I honestly had no idea until this week that he was dating one of the Cavinder twins. I guess that makes this move make sense, and I think he’ll do just fine at Miami. But I hate Miami so I wouldn’t mind if he reverts to much of his 2024 form for sure. Cam Ward leaves some awfully big shoes to fill at that spot.

The sax anthem tonight was very nice. But who was the little girl who crushed the anthem last night?
 
I still can't believe our extremely depleted team beat the Buckeyes in Columbus lol and our full strength team was dismantled by Texas at home when we actually thought we were good.
 
I don't think Texas can afford to let Ohio State jump out to a big lead. I don't see the Buckeyes winning the first half, and then losing the 2nd half like Penn State did.
 
I never cared for hearing their NFL players stating they played for "The Ohio State", it just sounds stupid to me
 
I remember reading Jack Tatum's bio years ago and he was controversial to say the least.

He played college ball for The Ohio State and was real loyal to Woody Hayes.

I am not out to defend Tatum but he was opinionated enough to be an interesting read.
 
Love watching a quarterback that will try to run the ball straight through you.
 
One day those blue chew commercials will feature a rough looking woman to demonstrate the real and impervious efficacy of their product.
