NFL 2024-2025

Steelers are getting their DUPA beaten in every aspect of the game tonight. Bring back Big Ben.

It's really not right when the NFL takes tax dollars for Stadiums, roads and so on. Then you have to pay for a channel to watch a game.
The NFL is brilliant and has almost never got it wrong on terms of building the brand.
But this kind of thing over time will create a lot of bitterness.

I am probably the crazy one, there will be no revolt, people will accept it and keep on subsidizing them and making them even richer.

As for myself I see myself watching less as time passes and spending more sunday afternoons sorting the nuts and bolts in the workshop.

Baltimore vs Buffalo would be an awesome game. I’m rooting for Denver tomorrow, but I suppose I’d be okay with Buffalo. I believe it would be a better game than it was earlier in the year.

Expectations weren’t elevated so I’m doing good. I’ve come to expect mediocrity from this once dominant team.
Steelers will be back. It may take some time. Teams run in cycles. Green bay was once a dynasty and so were the Steelers. Back in the 70's the Steelers were one of the greatest teams in NFL History. They have also had some good years since then.
I have been a Steelers and Pirates fan my whole life through thick and thin. I don't "only" root for them when they are a winning team.

There has been a lot of Steelers chastising on the forum. Fact is the Steelers have played some good football over the past 10 years and have been fun to watch.

Who is the best football team past 10 years?

TEAMREC
1Chiefs123-41
2Steelers101-61-2
3Bills101-62
4Packers100-63-1

As a side note the last time that Detroit won the championship, I believe, was in 1953.

Steelers have been an above average team that hasn't accomplished much more than being consistently above average. Regardless, I respect the team because it is always tough.

Worst fan base in the NFL though.

How many times in the last ten years have the Steelers been a legit Super Bowl contender?

Their accomplishments are more Championships than all teams except 3 (Packers, Bears, & Giants).

As I previously stated the last time that Detroit won a Championship was in 1953. :)

You posted a chart on the last ten years. I was addressing the last ten years.

The Broncos kept it close in the first half, but their margin for error was tiny in this one. Allen and the Bills are just too much. That fourth down TD play was wild.
