NFL 2024-2025

The thing the refs have to remember too is Mahomes is known for faking a slide and then breaking off another 20.
Not really sure why they haven’t banned the fake slide yet. IIRC, Josh Allen used it in the playoff game against the Steelers last year as well. The college game pretty swiftly eliminated it after Kenny Pickett used it to score in the ACC CG a few years back.

The Chiefs pass rush finally gets home and starts taking over.

That was an irrational move by the Texans to go for 4th and 10 with ten minutes to go.

The Chiefs do absolutely nothing with what should have been a back-breaking error, and the Texans have the same chance they had a few minutes ago.

Hunt was taking over the game with downhill running and the Chiefs just can't bring themselves to stick with it. The Chiefs look like they will do enough to win another. If they hold on, the Ravens or Bills will be a heck of a challenge.

Not sure why the one announcer thought otherwise.

I think the call should have stood precisely because there wasn't clear evidence to overturn it, but that play highlights the subective element of when "control" is established.
