NFL 2024-2025

The Jayden Daniels / Dan Quinn / Commanders finally becoming good after the Snyder years stories are all great and easy to root for, but this is a disastrous gut punch for the Lions. In the end it looks like the defensive injuries were too much to overcome, but it's hard to come back from stuff like this.
 
I think Detroit is done. They got have have 3 scores, and stop Washington's offense, that will not happen.
 
I do wonder how the Lions will bounce back next season. I thought blowing a 24-7 lead in the NFC CG was pretty terrible; getting thoroughly handled at home in the first game after a 15-2 regular season isn’t any better. Those kinds of losses stack up and take a toll on you as a team.

If there’s a silver lining, they should have key defensive guys like Hutchinson back at least.
 
And one last game sealing turnover does it.

This is a statement win by the Commanders. Knocking off the number one seed in a triller and dominating the turnover battle. It's so good to see them have this much success after decades of misery under Snyder.

At the same time though, I feel gutted for the Lions. After losing the NFC championship game last year it really looked like they were finally gonna get over the hump and make it to their first Super Bowl. But the defense just had too many injuries to overcome and Goff just didn't play good enough tonight. Nevertheless this was the best season Detroit has had in a long time and I hope they can bounce back next season and continue to be one of the best teams in the NFL for the foreseeable future.
 
Said for weeks the Eagles were the best NFC team. Of course we'll somehow end up laying an egg tomorrow in the snow. Washington fans will talk about how they beat us yet ignore that Hurts was knocked out in the first quarter and they still needed a last second touchdown to win. However I can't see LA winning in the snow.

Barkley is the exact reason I would support Detroit trading away Gibbs. Put these treasures in a place where they can show their talent AND win a championship.

Also, one more snow game before the season is over? Sure!!

I mean I'm here, people always flake on Eagles games because then they are all surprised when we are good. And they don't like to say nice things about us.
