It's ours this time

Anyone buy division/conference champ gear when your team wins?

I understand SB gear if your team wins, but I don’t get the point of division/conference gear. Especially divisional gear.

I did back fir the Phillies run in 2008 but not since then.

I don't know how one dislikes Andy Reid.

It's Patrick Mahomes who people dislike.

His epic meltdown the one and only time the calls didn't go his way (because the refs called an easy offsides penalty against the Chiefs offense) was the day he became the most insufferable athlete in pro sports.

That was his worst moment, agreed. He's been fine otherwise. Looking back at Brady, Jordan, whoever else, they all had their less upstanding moments.

That moment from Mahomes, when there's no player in history who has come close to getting the amount of favorable calls he gets, was that bad though.

Others have had their moments. But even Brady's admitted he was gifted games he shouldn't have been. At the same time, the NFL went on a crusade against him when he beat the Colts and Jim Irsay whined and cried.

Dynasties are fun to root against. They're not fun to root against when you have the amount of BS that's gone on the past couple years. The entire need to have Taylor Swift front and center because of the female audience she's brought in grinds gears too.

The Bills did not commit enough to the conventional running game, which they spent all year making a strength to take pressure off of Josh Allen. James Cook (6.5 ypa) was great when he got the ball, but they only handed it to him 13 times. The Chiefs defense was great in goal line, less so at other times, and the Bills failed to fully exploit it.

I love Mahomes. Genuinely nice guy...not just for the cameras.

Refs are star-struck by Mahomes and he gets the benefit of the doubt. He would be a fool to not capitalize on that to his team's advantage. Voicing displeasure with a call goes a long way toward getting more calls. There are a thousand athletes who whine more than Mahomes.

The Colts whined (actually it was an Indy Star reporter) when the Patriots broke the rules.

It's bad luck...
Quite possibly true. I got an Eagles conference champion shirt two years ago. This year I am not. In two weeks we will know for sure.

If my team wins the division in baseball, absolutely. That's just so hard to do ... ESPECIALLY in the AL East.

Only Jaguars shirt I've bought that celebrates anything like that is a 27-0 shirt I bought from Barstool after that epic comeback against the Refs and Chargers in that Wild Card game a couple years ago.

They went back and found the most recent time a team was awarded a touchdown without scoring. It's never happened in the NFL, but it did happen in the 1954 Cotton Bowl.

Whether it's hate watching or that the Chiefs aren't actually hated by the wider audience (I suspect the latter), the latest chapter of their rivalry with the Bills produced the largest AFC Championship game audience ever. Fatigue my ass.

As a Chiefs fan have you seen all the whining online of "I'm not watching the Super Bowl with these teams" bunch of whiners.
