Specifically, the driver, having not led a lap during the race, takes the lead on the last lap (after the white flag is thrown) and is the lead car when a caution is thrown, thereby ending the race.

I already made my pick but that gives me another good idea if anyone needs suggestion.

How upside down do they need to be like a full 180 on the roof at the line or In the act of rolling over...we'll need frame by frame analysis for this @Charlie Spencer you might need to polish the bird watching binoculars.
 
Since Jimmie is only running what looks to be 2 Cup races this year, I'd like to change my prediction. It's a variation of one I should be a two time champion with but I'm not bitter about it or anything like that. Okay:
It will be announced during the 2025 Season, that for the 2026 season Chicagoland Speedway will be once again be host to a Cup Race.

Right on. This is so true and very important..

I would express a driver and car being upside down in the most absolute and pure sense by being at 0 degrees (Non-Fahrenheit style).

As long he doesn't get over 45 degrees upright or side ways, I think he is still technically upside down.

If the above image doesn't help, we might have to find someone to pose in different postions so that she can demonstrate and establish the side ways, upside down, pron- position and so forth.
 
Well I've still got nothing crazy but

JR Motorsports announces they will attempt a minimum of 5 Cup Series races in 2026. To fit the games rules this will be announced within the games timeline.

The team will no longer be fielding race cars by the end of the year, they will close , no longer be operational , out of business, closed up shop.

Ya know, a few years ago we had someone predict a driver would be seriously injured or die. @pjmolo rejected that ghoulishly morbid entry (correctly, in my opinion). I'm not sure if this peg fits the same hole but I'm inclined to try jamming it in there.

I also don't want to have to make the call of which driver caused a wreck. Heck, NASCAR has trouble making that determination. If a car pushes Gibbs into the race leader, who caused the wreck? If Gibbs pushes a car from the ninth row in the draft, did he cause it? If Gibbs and the other driver change the lead several times on the last lap, which one is the leader at the time of the accident? The one who led last time they crossed the S/F line, or at the last scoring loop?

So I'm not accepting this prediction. If you'd like to rephrase it, I'd reconsider.
 
fair enough, I was thinking something along the lines of what he did to JHN and Brandon Jones to name a couple, anyway, I'll come up with something else, thanks!!

I agree with this post and the only way to ethically predict an injury would be something like predicting that a gerbal were to blowout his jaw while A-gerbilating during the game 7 playoff moments.

Cause if a gerbal like Jeff Burton can force me to use up my HSA funds for my Gerbitol 1KG XR prescription, I deserve some damn revenge.
