Hi, new guy!Weather looking pretty good! No rain in the forecast as of right now on Saturday or Sunday. Temperatures Sunday night around race time should be low 40's.
Ricky vs Kyle Chapter 2I thought the Madhouse show was worth watching. The track manager is more of a driver referee than anything. Considering Nascar left in like '71, they spent a lot of time saying we are back to our roots. It was about what I expected. It's more of a show than a race. I don't think any cupper is going to get out of his car and chase the other one around.
NASCAR says the Modified Classic will be on NASCAR Channel on Tubi as well as FloRacing.
Yeah I ain’t paying for streaming **** anymore.Nice, I dropped Flo because I had to cut back expenses and with being a student teacher I don't have as much time to watch so nice to know I can still see it.
So, you drive with number with a 9 in it, AND you're a teacher. Is your name Carl by chance?Nice, I dropped Flo because I had to cut back expenses and with being a student teacher I don't have as much time to watch so nice to know I can still see it.
It is not.So, you drive with number with a 9 in it, AND you're a teacher. Is your name Carl by chance?
Both awesome in different ways.Almost as awesome as the colosseum...said nobody ever.
I have tried to keep an open mind, problem is I have watched parts of a few races from there on Flo and IMO the people are there for having races and fights break out with the clown show being the priority. When they don't have the nonsense, it's just a cramped tiny track with very little passing. I do expect it will be different with Nascar at the track and the dirt track format with less cars on track most of the time is going to help. Both awesome in different ways.
I'm trying to keep one, and I'll take a look. But I don't care how the locals have raced here since Cup left it behind 40-plus years ago. That has nothing to do with what we're going to see this weekend.I have tried to keep an open mind, problem is I have watched parts of a few races from there on Flo and IMO the people are there for having races and fights break out with the clown show being the priority. When have you known drivers to not have hard feelings? It’s an exhibition race. Drivers will likely go in expecting to get knocked around and bumped and do the same. No hard feelings, and whatever happens at BG between them stays at BG by time for the next race.
Probably afraid no one would earn any.I'm expecting some of the heat races at B/G to be pretty good coming from the first 2 rows. They are short races, with starting positions on the line. I wish they were giving out passing points for cars coming from the back, but the first couple rows should be interesting.
Absolutely some the best racing I ever saw in my life was the BGN races at Hickory. About 30 cars it was insanely .... perfect. With the France’s ties to BG and the updates they’ve added, I suppose the Clash will stay at Bowman Gray for a while. If you wanted to stage something at a classic short track during February in North Carolina, I wish they’d considered Hickory Motor Speedway. Using this dirt format would have made that a blast! HMS is 1/3 mile, high banking, and the Cup cars would have made that a heck of a contest. Maybe someday…
