2025 World of Outlaws

Bunch of additions to the lineup:

Zach Hampton in the Bill Rose car
Hunter Schurenberg in the Vermeer 55
Skyler Gee in the LFR 99 he's already been racing
To no one's surprise, Buddy Kofoid returning in the Roth 83

I'm shocked he doesn't run the Chili Bowl annually. He could easily win it in my opinion, he's current the best open wheel driver out there.
New kid, stayed home this year. I have a Gravel Chili Bowl midget shirt from 2023.

Wife went up to bed and that's when I got my Dirtvision sub for the year. Being able to borrow someone's login for awhile was nice but when push comes to shove, there's something about hearing Johnny Gibson's voice introing the feature that changes my heart rate and attention. You pay twice as much as Flo for a lot less overall content, but there's still a lot of good racing on here (especially with ASCS and 500 Sprints moving over) and the production quality is really, really good. Carson started up front and had plenty of motor to stay there.

Anyone with any thoughts about the year coming up? I'm guessing that Gravel will repeat, but I'm thinking his strongest competition is likely to come from Schatz. Bad night last night for Donny, but he still got to the feature without using a provisional and managed to finish top ten. I imagine he's going to be a much bigger factor later this week once they get the Ford motor a little more dialed in; I recall him looking fantastic last year during the Bike Week Volusia races. Kofoid and Macedo both need to overcome both their own aggression and in Kofoid's case, hope that the TRD motors don't keep blowing up at the high HP tracks. I guess this weekend is a good look at how that's coming along.

Great rookie class this year: Cole Macedo has been stupid fast in the Tarlton car the last year or so. Windom in the Sides 7S is at least a good piece with sponsorship, but he did look slow last night. Might take some time to figure things out there, but it might also be that Windom just isn't gonna be a great wing guy. Garet Williamson is good. Skylar Gee is a fun guy to watch. Schuerenberg is a good hand. Zach Hampton in the Bill Rose Racing 6 is a really interesting mix - independent guy in another independent guy's car, but Bill Rose usually has decent equipment.

God, I love this so much. So much.

Would be killer if we got Bell in the 69K at the Nationals in August.
