USAC also announced a date at one of my local tracks (Butler Motor Speedway) for the Sprint Cars. Really looking forwards to that in addition to High Limit and any other shows I can catch there in 2025.

For the first time I'm attending the USAC Winter Dirt Games. I've been to Florida for the late model Winternationals before but with Eastbay being gone it's just not the same. Here for 2 night at Volusia and then 4 nights at Bubbas'. Rooting for my guy Ballou.

Watching the USAC guys here with the late models reminds me that I much prefer the format of the sprint cars. Inverting the top 6 in each heat is so much more entertaining to watch as a fan. And qualifying still matters for the feature so you can't completely sandbag.

The speeds here at Volusia are impressive also. It's crazy how deep they drive into the corners. The late models were flat out for most of the heats and B's.

Jade and Taylor Reimer qualified 6th and 10th for tonite’s 35 lap Pro Late Model feature.

Reimer got taken out in a hard crash on lap # 1 … not her fault … done for the night. Avedisian up to 3rd in two laps then faded back to 7th at the end. Lost the handle - looked like she hurt her tires
