There was some good racing in the first 2 stages, but the helmets got too tight at the end.
Too much pushing and shoving got drivers into trouble. Some created their own trouble.

7.5 Seemed to be more excessive force used in this one when it wasn't needed.

8 just an all around solid 500 even with some excessive/questionable shenanigans and the usual single-digit number of running cars at the finish.

I miss when Daytona was more of a handling race and cars could make single run passes. 3 wide is exciting but it just limits what drivers can do

I don't buy the TV's blab about dominance.....so much is going on early in the race....fuel, etc. If I was a Penske fan, I would be sitting on three consecutive championships as well. I look at stuff this way....I am so pissed over a race because my life is so good. I am blessed.....but still pissed.

For 180 laps it was the greatest racing I’ve seen in person, last 20 was typical end of Daytona/dega races but that still didn’t take away from my enjoyment.
Not a Byron fan but was cool to finally see the 24 car win in person with the flames scheme as well

I think the bumper locking needs to be banned at this level. I can’t believe I’m typing this but Trucks and Xfinity were cleaner races than Cup this weekend. I’ll give it a 7 though, to go three wide as long as they did was wild.

Some decent racing and the expected took place. No disappointment for those who watch the sport for the wrecks. Wish they could find a way to race at super speedways without the massive pileups that take out so many competitive cars.

Really tough to rate. I was certainly entertained once the rain delays were over. Did we have a mystery caution or two? Wrecks were a bit over the top this year. We did get to see them race back to the checkers but the field had already been decimated, so it wasn't that much of a race.
