Xfinity RACE thread --- Atlanta

They keep just running into each other and letting him drive away. It’s insane. Every superspeedway race.

Hill always puts himself in position to win these drafting races, and he does the right things at the end to get it done.

He isn't the most popular driver but got to give credit to him.

Racing back to the checkered flag.

A caution should’ve been thrown. Dangerous for drivers and costly for the teams on multiple levels. But the fans got what they wanted…?

Austin Hill winning one of these races is like a 90% guarantee at this point.

If I was one of these Cup teams who had part-time drivers, I'd put him in EVERY superspeedway race. He's the best at it since Dale Jr.
I'm just honestly not sold either way. He's definitely great at it, but the 2 is usually not far behind.

But just how much of it is the car, given his owner's history with plate racing, and of course being the Xfinity Series? I understand it still takes a great driver to do it consistently along with a lot of luck and capable car. I'm just not sure, and honestly a bit perplexed as to why he's never gotten a shot in Cup if he is really that good.

The same can all be said about Byron too honestly, since he has wins at both Dega and Atlanta as well, other than the part about not getting a shot obviously.

Jeff Gluck crying on X about racing back to the line on the last lap. People cried when NASCAR threw the caution flag at Daytona and now folks are whining last night because NASCAR didn’t throw the caution flag lol Geez
