NFL 2025-26

Next season is OUR season. Lions winning the SB for sure!

Nah, just kidding.

These past two seasons are probably as good as we’re gonna get. It’s definitely been fun watching us win though. No matter what happens, can’t take our three straight winning record seasons away from us!

I think the Lions will be back in contention again. Losing Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn sucks, but Ben Johnson could be the next big head coach bust. Nobody knows. And I don't know that Minnesota or Green Bay will be better.

For once, I have confidence about the Jags. It's a rebuild, but it's a rebuild with key pieces in place (T-Law, BTJ, Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker). And Tony Boselli and Liam Coen are both focused on dominating "in the trenches," something Trent Baalke didn't understand.

They literally just making 💩 up out here... 😭😭😭😭😭😭

There's a better chance of me flying to the moon for dinner tonight.

Ryan Burr, whoever that is: Pittsburgh wants to trade for Trevor Lawrence and the Jags are interested.

The Jaguars: LOL bull****

Howie Roseman took a beer to the dome and might’ve lost a couple brain cells to give the rest of the franchises a chance next season 😇😇

Should not be banned. The only reason they want it banned is because one team has perfected it and only one team has found a way to stop it.

Perhaps, instead of trying to get the play banned because the Eagles have a beast offensive line and a QB who benches 600 pounds, teams should go watch videotape and see how Jacksonville (with the worst defense in the NFL) stopped it.

Or tell your qb and rb to hit the weights so they can do it.

Absolutely positively should not be banned.

If we are going to ban things we aren't good at then the Colts should press to ban the forward pass.

The Eagles would remain the best short yardage rushing team in the league if the pushing of ball carriers from behind were re-banned. Their offensive line and fundamentals are just that good. It’s important to note re-banned, because it was banned for decades until it was unbanned in the mid-2000s. I think they got it wrong then, and that these pile-up scrum shovefests don’t improve the game.

The Eagles O-line at work:

Games are won and lost in the trenches.

And it’s not even close, really.

Eagles O-line completely shut the blitz down in that game, a blitz that was otherwise unstoppable.

If they keep focusing on this, they’ll be a Super Bowl contender every year.
The Eagles OLine was no doubt a massive part of the solution. But what doesn’t get enough attention outside of Philly is Jalen Hurts dominated the playoff run from the line of scrimmage. Checking out of and into plays and changing the protections.

It was a big change from last year as Kelce was mostly calling and changing the protections. Hurts passed his new role with flying colors this post season.

Jalen Hurts is the most underrated QB ever.

I legit think he should’ve won MVP a couple years ago when he got hurt and Philly couldn’t win a single game.

The QB doesn't get enough credit.

I'll take THINGS I NEVER THOUGHT I'D HEAR for a thousand, Alex

My armchair coaching strategy was for KC to play cover-1 to stop Barkley, limit the middle, and make Hurts beat you deep. That's exactly what he did. Mad respect. 'Course having all day to throw didn't hurt.

James Gladstone isn't messing around.

Christian Kirk's contract unloaded on Houston in exchange for a seventh round pick, Evan Engram, Devin Duvernay, Ronald Darby and Josh Reynolds all released, Mitch Morse retiring. $27 million in cap space freed up.

That's a wild one. I like Geno, though I don't think he'll ever exactly be the answer for anybody. But he makes the Raiders better than they were, and the AFC West sure isn't boring anymore.

I mean it's the Raiders so something will inevitably go wrong.

I think this means instead of reaching for a QB they'll be targeting Jeanty.

I mean, I can't argue with that. But something has to go right eventually! :lol2:

As an old fart I can remember when the Raiders were touted as having the highest winning percentage of any professional sports team.
