I made my selection for Phoenix right after the end of COTA, and he had a good qualifying session today, so I'm sticking with him.

My year is off to a horrendous start, but there's plenty of racing left for me to crawl back up the standings.

For the first time this season, Chloe the cat seemed to have second guessed herself. She appeared to be set on Erik Jones, but a millisecond before going with him, she changed her mind and picked the driver next to him. Was it really a matter of not having faith in EJ, or did the treat to the right simply smell or look more appetizing? Regardless, will the last millisecond change pay off for us? We shall see!

She gets to change her mind at least nine times I think.....

I almost went with Zane Smith, he had some real good practice speeds.

Ugh…it’s never a good day when your driver gets taken out…AND is finishing last. Maybe time to let my dog pick a driver.

Chloe the cat is satisfied. She said she knew Bell was going to win and to not even question why she passed up on him for Berry. I have my theories, but I'll keep them to myself as I don't want her to throw a hissy fit. Trust me...those never end well!

Congratulations to @DanicaFreak, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of his pick, Christopher Bell, in the Shriners Children's 500 at Phoenix Raceway. That's the game's first pick of the race winning driver this season.

The top of the leader board remained in the hands of @Hawaii808 for the second consecutive race as he's now picked a Top 10 finishing driver in each of the last three races.

The "Most Upward Movement" award was shared by @ken and @2 Sweet when their pick of second place finisher Denny Hamlin enabled each of them to gain 11 spots in the standings.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was shared by @REBS31 and @Jorge De Guzman thanks to their picks getting caught up in "the big one" less than a third of the way into the race that caused each of them to drop fifteen spots in the standings.

And it's on to Vegas.

Feeling lucky, anyone?

Curious how I went minus one by staying in the same place?

Edit
Never mind i see it was technically tied for second but thought I was third.
