Cup RACE thread --- Las Vegas

Two weeks in a row. Just wish Chase could do better than 10th
Very funny that last week he had a 15-20th place car and finished 10th and this week he probably had a top 3 car and finished 10th. Racing. I think when he got the speeding penalty that made some adjustments that they thought would be helpful to get through traffic but were not and kind of lost their way a little. Nice to see the speed again though -they have had it every week except Phoenix which is no surprise. Just need a clean race. Ironically Phoenix has been their only one. Caught up in wrecks or speeding penalty in every other race.

I'm late to the party. WHOOT!!! A first win and the Wood Brothers! :punkrocke :pbjtime:  :bounce::cool:

How many people have got their first win in the 21 Wood Brothers Car?

Dale Jarrett, Elliott Sadler, Trevor Bayne, Ryan Blaney, Harrison Burton, and Josh Berry are names I can think of.

Kyle Petty got his first with The Wood Brothers, but it was the 7 car. I'm asking specifically for the 21.

Another mess in the GL column.

Tiny Lund winning the 1963 Daytona 500 in the Wood Brothers #21 is one of the greatest racing stories ever.

The G/L (gain / loss) column continues to have the +/- wrong.
Chase Elliott went from 5th to 4th in the standings and its shows him losing a position instead of gaining a position. :owquitit:

It's the exact opposite of what it should be. If they have a minus in the G/L column it means a plus in positions...a nothing and that means a loss of positions. Goofy.
