Silly Season 2025

Anybody know how those debt-relief and tax-relief organizations make money? What's the methodology and business model? And what's the downside for the customer? Anyone here ever deal with one of them?

Thanks for any coherent responses.
It's a for profit company. That should tell you all you should know. Plenty of credit counselors out there some of them are free. good place Nascar to advertise though I bet.

Basically, you as the customer, stop paying your bills. These organizations collect that $ from you instead into a separate bank account. Using whatever algorithms they use to determine when a good time is to negotiate a settlement on your account(s). And then pay so much a month out of said bank account is settled. They take a % from you based on the settlement amount, flat fee, it depends. Nothing that you cannot just do on your own.

So MBM is just trying anyone who calls them at this point? So I didn't have an issue with Mike Wallace getting a no for Daytona and Mears hasn't made a NASCAR start in 5 years...I know what NASCAR is going to say and it being Martinsville makes it different, but by that precedent he shouldn't be allowed either...

Part if why Nascar let Legge run last week is because they have different standards for short tracks than they do for the 1.5's on up. That actually makes sense if you look at the age of some of the youngsters running on the smaller tracks in other series. :idunno:

As I said I understand why they will approve Mears

They are a true rent-a-ride.

Casey Mears wasn't a star, but he had a decent long career. I'm happy to see him back, can't believe it has been nearly a decade since he retired from full-time competition. For some reason, I thought his last full year was like 2019 or something.

The Preacher has found a sponsor for the 11. Prayers answered for Dennis. Flo Gets Us

He was getting Cup attention two offseasons ago, then re-signed with RCR.

I’d imagine he replaces whoever quits driving first between Busch and A. Dillon.
