I'm going round and round trying to pick from the "Yellow" drivers. Think I know my pick...may wait for qualifying.

Whew, I was worried that Briscoe would be popular. This race is an opportunity to make up ground on the leaders and move up a few spots in the standings.

Obviously it was a good thing, but how in the hell did not one single person pick Larson at Darlington?

Briscoe is much slower than expected, especially on long runs.
I don't think he has a top-20 car, but maybe he'll get a top-10 finish if he stays out of trouble. At least, I hope so. The timing of the cautions has been really good for him so far.

Perhaps it was because he had a poor qualifying result. We dodged a bullet, I guess.
Or maybe everyone just assumes he will hit the wall here now. Kinda strange.

I'm still searching for my first top 10 finish this year, got a 28th from Briscoe today.

It has been a disastrous start to my 2025 Pick 'Em season.

I wanted to pick Denny but he is traditionally not that good in the spring race.

Of course I pick bubbles and he ran like a 3 legged dog today

Congratulations to @kkfan91, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of his pick, Denny Hamlin, in the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.

The top of the leader board changed hands for the second consecutive race when @kkfan91 used Hamlin's win to vault past five others to claim a stake as King of the Mountain.

In a race that saw few picks finishing in the Top Ten, thereby ending Top Ten picks in consecutive races by several players, @ol'whatshisname and @donthaveanickname used the second and third place finishes of their picks to string together three consecutive Top Ten picks of their own.

The second place finish of his pick, William Byron, enable ol'whathisname to snag the "Most Upward Movement" award when he gained six spots and found a place in the Top Ten in the standings.

Finally, the "Slipping & Sliding" award was taken by last year's game champion thanks to the 28th place finish by his pick, Chase Briscoe, which caused @Spotter22 to drop seven spots in the standings.

I was pretty pleased with Briscoe watching him hold strong for the first 30 laps and then I knew I was in trouble. Even when he got saved from getting lapped by that caution I knew I was done. They flat missed the setup. For those who want to say these cars are all the same, you saw living proof they are NOT. I fear a repeat is not in my future but I will not go quietly!
