She told the media, “He really doesn’t really mess with me too much. He pinches my butt, but I’m pretty sure that’s not exclusive to me. Unfortunately, I don’t get that honor just to be the only butt pinched.”

She doesn't sound offended.... in fact she sounded receptive or at least okay the pinching.

Combine that with the video of her lifting her up..seems flirty to me.

If we post this crap in season, what will be posted when the winter runs long?
It’s getting downright awful to be honest, like let’s show some decorum and common sense when staring a whole thread about nonsense.

This is horrible!!!!
If you have a daughter or grand daughter and condone this I can't believe it!
Oh the humanity!!!

Both are women. Both experienced issues in Motorsport for being a woman.
But this isn't connected to an issue for either one of them. Tony's never pinched Cat (that we know of), and he wasn't singling Danica out. He reportedly treated her the same way he treats everyone. Whether pinching people is acceptable is open to discussion but it wasn't because Danica was a woman. Any other experiences are outside this 'nothing to see here' topic.

You’ve summed up how I feel about this thread better than I ever could. Thank you.

OK on the pinching I understand that but I don’t think he went around lifting other drivers up. He singled Danica out for that. I think it was very flirty.

Comments on Kat’s gender were abundant recently.

Apples and oranges IMO, at least as far as the topic of this thread is concerned.

I'm obviously not privy to what all went on in Tony and Danica's relationship and Danica's current feelings about it. That said, the ProClickbaitNetwork piece, written (or generated by the AI) on April 17, 2025, is specifically referencing something Danica said in 2016 about Tony pinching her.

The pinching didn't seem to be an issue for her when she discussed it then, and I didn't see anything in the piece asserting that she takes issue with it now. Really weird topic for ProClickbaitNetwork to suddenly bring up completely out of the blue.

That's not a pinch, that's a grope. Completely different critter.
I remember seeing that live and thought DeLana was going to punch the snot out of him.

Personally, I think it's weird to pinch another man's butt. I think it's inappropriate to do that to a married woman. Anything else, that's between them.

I have worked with crews who did a lot of outrageous things.

We had one guy who pretended to be a hottie while texting the teams horn dog. It escalated to the point of him texting a porn stars nude image, and that led to the clueless horn dog going to men's room and sending a photo of his own junk. I have to admit that I laughed out loud.

One of the wimmins at work did a lingerie photo shoot and then showed the photos to a few people at work. It was poor judgment on her part. She was reported by someone, which eventually led to her termination.

I had one guy on a night shift crew that told me his girlfriend was having car trouble and he had to leave to assist her. He promised me that he would be gone just long enough to safely transport her home. He returned about 90 minutes later as he said he would, and it all seemed non eventful. But then he accidentally sent a text to me that he meant to send her.

It was clear from the text that he had only left work for a bootie call. I deleted the message and never coached him or even discussed it with him or anyone else at work.

I used to train new hires, and many of them were young. I introduced them to a lot of people on the crew. I would mention that one of the crew members was gay during the intros. He was actually straight, but he would play along and flirt with the young new hires to create a lot of awkward moments. It was wrong and sick, but that kind of stuff happens on 12 hour night shifts.

On another occasion, I gave the male and female team members a porn star nickname. The names were a creative play on words that were close enough to their actual names to match the assigned highly suggestive nickname.

A lot of that stuff could have got me terminated. I knew who was casual or relaxed enough to have a little fun at work.

I am thinking Tony knows the game as well, probably even better.

The things your US military gets up would cause many in Congress to cringe (probably because there is no longer much overlap between the two institutions). Almost all of it is completely harmless but also far from today's standards of 'correctness'.

I'm hoping something outrageous happens this week at Texas to get the focus back on on-track happenings, this entire deal here has been PEAK late December heart of the off season shenanigan's.
Does anything outrageous ever happen at Texas? Well, except for McDowells qualifying mishap.
