Bias cause I was in attendance. But this was an entertaining race. Attrition. Comers and goers. Result was very much in doubt all the way to the very end.

Texas gets a bad rep. Yes it’s a one groove treacherous race track, but I will take what I watched yesterday over the 500 lap snoozefest at Martinsville any day.

I think any race you attend is a good race. In the gazillion races I attended I normally glanced at where the leader was but focused on battles in the field that the networks don’t show much of.

Nothing beats the in person experience. Television doesn’t remotely do this sport justice.

The Next Gen has its issues don’t get me wrong. But being at the track feeling the thunder of the pack roaring by in person is still bliss.
