2025 Sonsio Grand Prix

Yeah, this is pretty mindboggling stuff. There just hasn’t been this level of dominance in decades, certainly not anything close to it in the spec chassis era. And he looked the quickest and most comfortable at the 500 Open Test…that first career oval win is probably due to come sooner than later.

And it's not as if there's no other talent in the field running against him. He's spanking damn good teams.

There's no way Palou isn't in the conversation for an F1 seat at Cadillac or elsewhere.
No driver has been this dominant in IndyCar for decades.
The 2025 championship is pretty much over at this point but the biggest race of the sport is coming up and it rarely disappoints. Can't wait for the two most beautiful weeks of the year.
Nice to see Graham at least hold on to 6th, but he would have deserved better today.

Lots of good racing, especially after that yellow, beyond the top 5. I think if it weren’t for Palou we’d be having a much different discourse as to the racing product. Naturally he’s going to suck up all the oxygen in the room with the run he’s on.

How does Rahal keep a seat with not winning in 8 years? His Daddy?

He does a lot of work on the commercial side of the team and is poised to take over his father’s role as co-owner sooner than later. You could also do a lot worse than him on track. The team as a whole has lost a couple steps the past few years.

As someone who gets to attend RLL events I’ll tell you that United Rentals is a big fan of Graham which is why he hasn’t been pushed into retirement. I can’t believe with their big money sponsors that they can’t be more competitive at the top to be honest.

Wonderful people though, played Blackjack with Graham for a bit at the prerace event in Indy last year.
