Nope. All he'll lose are the points from this Sunday's race. Playoff points are unaffected.

You may be thinking of the penalty if he DOESN'T get the waiver.

I'm not sure how much "raising" Denny does. Between driving, running a race team and all his extracurricular sports activities I don't think that leaves much time for family.

I can’t see where the drivers have much time for anything given all their commitments. Denny can be the fun dad and take his child to school in a helicopter!
