NASCAR 2025 BOLD Prediction Game

Reading some of these makes me wish I would have predicted Reddick ****ting himself last year. :XXROFL: :rolleyes:

Well, I lost
And now it's official. o_O

@acmerocket gets another race closer to going green.

I'm feeling pretty confident about my prediction. Ty Dillon has been better than expected. There is still Daytona 2 on the schedule. Anything can happen at that race.

@acmerocket in full Larson mode.

There are several predictions regarding Larson and / or the 600. For the second time in three years, I have foolishly scheduled an extended vacation through the Memorial Day weekend. I probably won't be able to watch it live, and I'll be away from my computer with the spreadsheet for this game. Look for updates the following weekend, May 31st or June 1st.

just wondering
I picked two non-chartered drivers will win in cup

are the 23Xi drivers considered non-chartered now?

just asking for clarification in case they both decide to win a race.

One of the things I've always loved about this game is the importance of how predictions are phrased. Some can be interpreted in ways not readily apparent back in February. Others gain or lose potential as the season advances. Back in February, the terms 'part-time driver' and 'non-chartered driver' were basically synonymous. If @28car had used the phrase 'part-time drivers' instead of 'non-chartered drivers', we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Yes, 23XI and FRM drivers are NOW considered to be in non-chartered cars. As previously noted in post #67, "Cars are chartered, not drivers. (The prediction) has been accepted and interpreted as meaning '2 (or more) drivers in non-chartered cars will win in Cup!'. Note this includes the possibilities those drivers could be in the same car or different one, but NOT that the same driver will win in 2 different cars."

Game Management would like to claim it was waiting for this question, but don't stand close. At best, Game Management's growing nose may poke your eye out. At worst, you'll get shocked by the lightning bolt.

Speaking of phrasing, I noticed @MRM 's prediction includes the phrase 'at least one CUP race', NOT 'at least one POINTS race'. The All-Star Open is an event on the Cup Series schedule, and was won by Spire driver Carson Hocevar. We have the season's fourth correct prediction.

Congrats to @MRM. Allowing The Open is somewhat questionable, but not a big deal since we get to vote for the winner anyway.

I have about 5 races left for Ty Dillon to get it done. Daytona is a great opportunity for him.

Tomorrow is one more chance for Ty Dillon to make my prediction come true. I'm rooting for him.
