2025 World of Outlaws

Chris Winston I mean Winton I mean...

Sides is a good guy and a huge WoO loyalist like Donny, so I'm not surprised he came through. I'm glad his streak of 1600+ WoO starts won't be interrupted.

Didn't realize the Sides news was wrong.

He'll be driving a car for Big Game / Tod Quiring for the next three weekends, effectively making him Gravel's teammate. It will be interesting to see what he lines up after that.

Schatz is professional here as always, but clearly unhappy with how it went down.

Schatz wadded it up in the first turn of the main event tonight. Ouch. Hope the rest of his stint with Big Game goes better.

Already on to Plan C, and he says there is no guarantee he'll run another race with Big Game. Yikes. Hopefully he can just turn in a decent run tonight.

Kofoid wins again at River Cities after starting ninth, ahead of Gravel, Macedo, and Schuchart. Schatz was eighth and is running pretty well in his temporary ride.

A wild battle for the win in Fargo sees Macedo steal the win from Haudenschild. It almost never goes right for Sheldon, but at least he didn't wreck this time.

The incident was the second time in two years when a caution wasn't thrown for Haudenschild spinning out in situations in which it usually is. Bad officiating, but obviously doesn't justify Sheldon doing that. Seems a pretty light punishment honestly. I think WoO doesn't want to lose that team next year, whether Sheldon is still driving for them or not (a lot of rumors out there).

There is no excuse for the WOO officiating.
There is no excuse for Haudenschild's physical confrontation.
Sheldon needs to confer with Jack Hewitt on how to properly handle these types of situations verbally. :D

Didn't expect it to drop this soon, but indeed Sheldon is leaving the #17 after this season. If he is taking his crew chief with him, they must already have a seat lined up.

Bayston was driving his ass off and almost got it done. He's shown a lot of promise since he lost the #14 ride.

Corey Day and Kaleb Montgomery were battling hard for the lead earlier in the race and made contact that took both out.

Dale Blaney beats the Outlaws at Sharon and becomes the oldest WoO winner ever at 61, surpassing his brother Dave. Awesome stuff. Kofoid second, Haudenschild third.

Big Dave builds ‘em different. He’s has been tinkering with different setups for years. There is some chatter out there that there may be some WOO rule changes.

Fantastic battle to end the National.Ooen at Williams Grove, with Sheldon Haudenschild chasing down and passing Bill Balog with a few to go and holding on over Dietrich and Balog. The top three were under a blanket on the final lap. All of those who always bag on the Grove can stuff it. Great race
