Congratulations to
@hmmm298 and @ol'whatshisname, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of their pick, Shane Van Gisbergen, in the Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The top spot of the player's leader board, now in the hands of
@kkfan91, changed once again as that position has bounced back and forth after the last five races between
@kkfan91 and
@Mr. E.
Upon taking the top spot after picking the race winner in the previous two races, the fortunes of
@Mr. E took a drastic turn when his pick, Riley Herbst, was disqualified and saddled with a last place finish.
On the other hand,
@kkfan91 has picked a Top Ten finishing driver in five of the last six races which has enable him to take a sizable lead over the rest the field.
Except for the change at the top of the standings, membership in the Top Five Club remained unchanged with
@antman12,
@Conover, and
@JJ_14 holding down positions three through five, although the finishes of their picks caused all them to fall further behind in the "Points Behind Leader" column.
Like
@kkfan91, several other players, namely
@LewTheShoe,
@Biggreen695, and
@hmmm298, have each picked a Top Ten finishing driver in five of the last six races in their collective move towards the top of the player standings.
And although he remains a long-shot to win the game's championship,
@superchuck500 has picked a
Top Five finishing driver in each of the last four races resulting in an upward movement of fourteen spots in the standings over that period.
The "Most Upward Movement" award was taken by
@hmmm298 following his gain of four positions in the standings, although he was able to move only five points closer to the leader.
The "Slipping and Sliding" award was taken
@Greg when his pick of last place finisher Riley Herbst resulted in his slip of seven positions in the standings along with a thirty-one point slide further behind the leader.
Finally, thanks to a "failing post-race weights" disqualification and last place finish by Riley Herbst, the "Wiping Up the Rear" award was ceremoniously presented to the three players that picked him, that is
@Mr. E,
@Conover, and
@Greg.
