Tomorrow night (well, tonight, officially) could be even more vibrant than tonight's spectacle from the aurora borealis.

Great site to get Aurora Forecasts for those interested. Often extremely accurate. Just make sure you take your time zone into account for the forecast. Eastern time is currently -5hrs after our most recent clock change.

Take a look in the "Podium". I just started a thread about unusually severe solar activity and geomagnetic storms which are tied to this and which are causing these displays. A new round of storms of extremely severe level are just starting again (Dec. 1) so there should be more auroras this week. The activity was so heavy this last time (Nov 11-12) that the displays reached as far south as Mississippi and Mexico. I don't know if that's ever happened before.
