Wendell Scott overcame a lot of obstacles to make a living on Nascar's Grand National circuit. By all accounts, his small and under-resourced team operated with grace and dignity and never-ending hard work. A heck of a role model, and worthy of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, in my opinion.
Bubba Wallace honored Wendell Scott at Martinsville 2014 with a throwback paint scheme and adopting Wendell's number 34 for just one race. And Bubba won the pole and the race too.
