Are the Frances looking for outside investors and what does NASCAR's ownership future look like?

This is just another case of be careful what you wish for. They went after nasacr and won for the time being. The future is yet to be seen if we all end up winning or losing
 
I doubt that they will ever sale or ever accept enough investors to relinquish any control. Very few could afford it, they have made billions and they are living good. The Frances will continue to run things long after we are dead
and gone.

I don't necessarily want the Frances to sell as much as I'd like management to be open to new input from outside the family. Based on what we learned regarding their responses to Phelps and O'Donnell during the 2023 / 24 negotiations, they didn't give consideration to their own inner circle. They don' t have to sell to drop the 'my way or the highway' management style.

They still are, they will make Jim France a first ballot HoF entry when eligible. They will also eventually work Brian France into the HoF before it's all said and done

That's some of the running insanity that has lasted for years. When you own everything outright it's yours period warts and all. Now they have multiple investors but still one owner. I'm not seeing any changes fan wise. They will still bow down to TV and sponsor money over the fans.

Brian France belongs in the Hall of Fame and I will die on this hill.

Now, which hall? That's the question.
 
The Frances selling NASCAR has been a talking point since NASCAR and ISC merged for that specific purpose and will continue until that inevitably happens. It has not happened because until now, the sport had uncertainty (lawsuit, prior to that was the media deal). They'll sell a portion or the whole thing to a media distribution network who are all realizing paying for rights is a loser and paying to own the teams/league is the move.
