NFL 2025-26

They all play by the same rules
When it comes to that play, no they don’t. Which is a problem and why the play should be banned altogether.

There’s almost always an uncalled illegal donation, false start or an offsides on a successful tush push. Plus there are explicit rules in place that make it harder for defenses to stop it.

It’s also hard to make the calls for offsides or false start when the entire team is crammed in tighter than a can of sardines to shove the QB through.

Some teams are allowed to do it. Others are not.

THE only solution is to ban the tush push.

So , only the Bills can use this tactic or is it available to everyone?

It's here until they vote that it isn't. In the meantime, yes, they're all playing by the same rules.....

At the May 2025 NFL Owners Meetings, a proposal to ban the "tush push" quarterback sneak, championed by the Philadelphia Eagles, failed to pass, keeping the play legal for the upcoming season despite heated debate, with reports of impassioned speeches from Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and former player Jason Kelce defending it against league-wide concerns about fairness and potential safety, though data didn't show increased risk. The measure fell short of the 24 votes needed, with 22 teams voting to ban it, meaning it was defeated by just two votes, with some owners like Jerry Jones even admitting they voted against it just to oppose the Eagles.

Did you see the number of false starts the bills got away with today?

And I am still blaming Liam Coen for that loss.

The tush push is NOT available to everyone. Which is my point. They can’t officiate it properly. If you can’t officiate a play, it should not be allowed.

I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve gone back and looked at tush push plays and admitted there should’ve been penalties but it’s something a ref couldn’t call because they couldn’t see it since they can’t fly.

Like the hands to the face on the last call? Yeah that was Eagles.
SF hasn’t been healthy all season long. They’ve made it this far with 5th string players.
Like the way they’ve been bailed out a couple times. Like the way they commit fouls and they’re not called. Refs are totally in the tank for the 49ers today.

The QB slide has to be addressed IMO.

Mahomes has this thing where he does a slide, defenders let up, then he goes and runs for 20 yards after.

And that’s why defenders let up.

bull**** calls, give them first downs but not call holding on the touchdown.
