Truck RACE thread --- Daytona

Best truck race at Daytona in a long long time. Really enjoyed the variety of guys who showed up to compete. And a great finish without 17 GWCs.

FOX almost ruined it for me though. That broadcast was absolutely horrendous.
 
What was so wrong with the broadcast? You do realize this is the 3rd tier series right?

Well, I like Jamie Little but play by play lead announcer is not her forte at all. She IS the best pit reporter/interviewer in the business. Joey is OK but he too often mutters and laughs at himself at the expense of the viewer. Harvick is always steady, good, but the vocal tenor is very close to Logano, which makes them hard to identify, especially if Joey is walking over top of Happy.
 
Just finished the race. Wow, what a surprise ending. Wonder what problems were plaguing Hocevar, other than exuberance.
 
I was at the race. Don't know what it looked like on TV but that was a really fun race to watch in person. Shame about Cleetus and Tony wrecking so early and Lajoie having engine issues just before 10 to go. I thought not throwing the caution before the white flag was a bad call by Nascar, but now I'm glad they didn't. 4 wide coming to the line was awesome. 8/10
