2026 Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

Anyone know what time the race is scheduled to start Sunday? I'm asking when the green is scheduled to wave, NOT when the TV broadcast starts.

Talented driver, great engineering team put together over the offseason, plus the Andretti alliance is all working in favor of DCR already. Huge day for the team with RoGro making it to the Fast 6 as well. Hopefully they keep their noses clean and bring home good results tomorrow.

A good race but the rest of you drivers and teams need to do something! I'd like to see a different winner every now and again. Sheeesh! :rolleyes:
 
That wasn’t a bad race I thought. There was a lot of competition between 2nd-12th, and the final two podium spots changing hands in the closing laps was fun. Certainly better than last year’s race, though I’ll still beat the drum that this event should be extended back to 110 laps to extend the pit windows and cut down on the fuel saving.

Ericsson got away with a lot of very on-the-edge defensive moves so I guess the ‘new’ race control will still be pretty laissez-faire.

I’m disappointed for Mick, that was just embarrassing from Robb - a bottom five pay driver since reunification, imo. Shameful. RLL didn’t receive the car towed back from outside the track until after the race, so that’s why he never returned, although they said the damage was light enough they could have.

The first IndyCar race is over with and there aren’t three weeks until the next one - I could get used to that.

Admittedly, Palou blew everyone away, but like you say.....

Thankfully the cameras concentrated on many of those battles, so it was fun to see.

As an Ericsson fan, I was disappointed with his move on the front straight. I hope Indycar can get a grip on this stuff because it ruins the racing, or as Max would call it "anti-racing."

Mick is going to have a rough go at Phoenix considering how little time he has in the car. He's really being thrown off the deep end.
