Totally baffled by Ford not stepping up. They are the sole 100% USA auto manufacturer (no foreign ownership like GM has the CCP as a shareholder), they have the only real two door rear drive vehicle for their race body, and they have a great source of engines (check out the IMSA engines). Makes no sense, CEO must be an ancestor of those that ran GM back in the late '50's.

They also have no pipeline for future Cup drivers. Ford has to rely on Chevy or Toyota development drivers.
