Getting a 15th-place result from Heim isn't anything to write home about—well, maybe it is based on my past performances.

But it isn't that bad; he is talented and should have a great future, but he is still the type that most would consider to be a value pick.

IMO, a top ten with him would have been great.
A top twenty would be a .good, satisfactory, or "meets expectations" result.
Anything worse would be bad or a fail (again, just my subjective opinion).

So I am okay with a 15th place result.

Yeah, I ran him also and have the same feeling. I think that when it comes to non-regulars and guys in the back of the field, 15th is that cutoff for a "solid" run that you can feel pretty good about. Top 20 is okay/acceptable and anything outside of the top 20 is disappointing even though it's often where you end up with those guys. The other way, top 10 is "nice!" and top 5 is "hell yeah!".

I suppose an exception would be when we get a road course ringer that you really do expect/hope to run in the top 10. Those aren't as common as they used to be but like Zilisch last year.

Congratulations to @Old 97, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the second place finish of his pick, Kyle Larson, in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway.

The top of the leader board changed hands for the first time in forever as @TommyGunn moved @hmmm298 from the first place position with a successfully executed bump-and-run maneuver that rattled @hmmm298 so much that @Clutch was able to move past him also.

The Top Five Club kept @aunty dive and @ken in the mix but @Michfan slipped out of a tie for the fifth position when his streak of five consecutive top ten picks came to an end.

In addition to @Michfan seeing his streak ended, the group of five players that had picked a Top Ten finishing driver in the four previous races lost two members (@Biggreen695 and @Conover), however three of those players (@FLRacingFan, @Clutch, and @TommyGunn) were able to extend the streak to five consecutive races.

Along with the "Highest Finishing Pick" award, @Old 97 also took the "Most Upward Movement" award although he gained only four points relative to the leader and one spot in the standings.

On a side note, @REBS31 gained six spots in the standings (one point relative to the leader) and moved into the top ten.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was taken by @donthaveanickname who, like @Blaze in the previous race, was saddled with a "NO PICK" which caused a drop of thirty-two points relative to the leader as well as a slide of two spots in the standings.

I've noticed that ol'whatshisname has struggled as of late after a decent start to the season. Hopefully you turn things around soon.

As for my selection, can never be mad with a top 10.

As mentioned in the results post, @TommyGunn has picked a Top Ten finishing driver in each of the last five races.

But it gets better.

Actually, he's picked a Top Five finishing driver in each of those five races.

And on top of that, in each of those five races he's picked the fourth place finisher.

That's pretty crazy. The newcomer is putting on a clinic.

Yeah....fourth place LOL! I'm enjoying my time at the top- unfortunately I'm afraid I've used up too much top tier talent too soon. We shall see. I'm enjoying the view while I'm here!

You've gotten top tier results from the top tier talent.

Whether it's early in the season or later on, it's a feather in your cap.
