The Saga of Chris Gabehart

This guy is an employee, but he is running his mouth like he owns JGR. Reminds me of Revman. I wonder if they are one in the same?

This is, again, evidence of how JGR morphed into an organizational resemblance of narcissistic Hamcrap.

Denny, the god (little g) of NASCAR, the greatest driver ever according to himself, loves being on his mountaintop perch as podcaster pontificator. One of the biggest mistakes NASCAR may have ever made was allowing this mashup of a team owner who drives for a different team. They sold their soul for MJ money and exposure, and for raising Toyota’s profile. I have no issue with Toyota racing in NASCAR…I think they do a great job with their racing development program and support overall.

But I do think Hamcrap needs to stay out of this lawsuit. Let the JGR organization speak for themselves…you are not an owner in that team. You are a (on paper…very leveraged out) part owner of a team that was birthed and suckled milk from JGR. Where did 23XI get their help…just from TRD? If so why isn’t Legacy competing right there with the other Yotas? We know….because 23XI was developed, for all practical purposes, as an illegal extension of the JGR team’s stable of cars…just with a moneybags owner and a big mouthed NPD small change co-owner who sucked up to Jordan long ago.

Now JGR, via the vendetta driven Wittle Ty mob and grandpa, are lawsuit happy. They won big at the craps table against NASCAR, so go back the next night. But like I said, that’s their fight. Hamturd I’m sure believes he has all the insider knowledge, but his toxic rants just pile onto the toxic statements made by the clan. No wonder Spire gets fed up with their defamational tirades. Hopefully, when the current suit is finished, Spire will turn the tables and file suit for defamation. But I doubt it. They just want to keep growing as a competitive team. We all know how that rankles Joe Gibbs (Furniture Row….🤬).

I haven't seen anything he's done to make the sport better. What positive for the fans came out of the lawsuit? Rich people got richer.

This lawsuit has nothing to do with Denny, he needs to keep his mouth shut. Chris was never his employee.
Driver, owner, pod cast......He drives on Sunday, and tells you what happened on a Monday. Gains in the sport due to the lawsuit will come in time. He had the balls to do what no other owner including NASCAR's favorite felon could do. He provided a platform for the world's greatest athlete to invest in the sport. The lawsuit sure as hell has something to do with him. Sleezebag took what wasn't his, and that impacts Denny's competitiveness because he still gives a **** at 45 after everything he has gone through in Phoenix and the loss of his Dad. Yup, Denny doesn't do ****. I'll take that guy over the one who is in Cup so he can be in Bumble****, Idaho for dirt every ****** day.

I think you need to see a doctor. That post seems like you might be having a stroke....

You studied at the @StandOnIt School of bull****. Why does he need to stay out of the lawsuit? Why? Because you don't like him? I like it that Denny has an opinion, and he is damn well going to express it. You don't like that because you don't like Denny. Fine. Ignore him. You can't. Why? How the hell does Denny's ownership impact anybody or anything negatively? It doesn't. It is actually good for the sport. I remember when the conversation was about who the next owners will be after the current set of aging ones split. Pretty clear isn't it? Maybe we should be talking about the talent Denny has drawn to 23XI and comparing that to Kez's progress? Noooo, don't want to do that....because THE NARRATIVE. Compaing the lawsuit against NASCAR to the Spire crap is ridiculous. The real story here is that another sleezebag left JGR and took IP, and Coach wasn't having it a second time. Let's remember that Gabehart has admitted to taking **** he shouldn't have. Somehow that gets lost in these stupid anti-JGR rants. Thank God we have a guy like Denny to offset the sleaziness of the Spire bunch.

The latest. Hamlin pulling out the he attacked "the family" card. Next will be "he kicked our dog".
Can't imagine how much you would be ****ting yourself if the tables were turned. I am sure that there is a Bill Davis reference somewhere around here.

Amendment of the week. Pricks.

1. Dude accused of stealing stuff.
2. Jeffy II hires him.
3. Dude admits to stealing stuff.
4. Jeffy II doesn’t fire him.
5. No way in hell Dude shard stolen IP with team?

QUESTION: What part of a guy who steals stuff would prevent him from sharing it?

:XXROFL: Spire knowingly, intentionally, unjustifiably, and in bad faith induced Gabehart to breach his contract with JGR by (1) soliciting and hiring him to work for Spire, (2) requesting, encouraging, or otherwise inducing him to disclose or use Plaintiff’s trade secrets or confidential information, (3) allowing him to perform the same or similar services he provided JGR in the prior year to Spire and while using JGR’s Confidential Information and Trade Secrets, and on information belief, actively encouraging and inducing him to do so and (4) creating a role specifically designed to allow Gabehart to breach his noncompete obligations in a manner that makes it more difficult to detect the breach of his noncompete obligations.”

THIS is essentially an extension of the Tantrum Ty Ty mentality…and pathetic. The sheer conjecture quotient alone is spurious, and insulting to Spire. Gibbs gang creates a massive conclusion of guilt, assuming Spire’s performance is directly tied to these “secrets” that are like magic potions one can just pour onto a race car…with ZERO EVIDENCE PRESENTED TO DEMONSTRATE HOW THESE HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED! Spire offered to open their logs, computers and info to a third party, who could search for any “secrets” or evidence of same. Reportedly the Gibbs cabal wouldn’t do it. They would rather use implications, innuendo and the mishandling of stuff that Gabehart did capture on his phone, to gut a competitor.

That number 4 claim is laughable…claiming the role Chris has was built to withstand a noncompete clause. Companies do this all the time. It’s not unfair…it’s managing personnel. But it’s “SO UNFAIR CAUSE WE CANT EASILY PROVE A BREACH OF CONTRACT” cries whiny Ty Ty’s mommy, Grandpa Joe Jerk and his legal stooges.

Frankly JGR needs to swallow a chill pill. If there are such incredible secrets the Yotas are hiding, maybe they are more worried about something being exposed that skirts the rules of NASCAR. People are wondering how the Yotas of JGR and 23XI are doing AMAZINGLY well at every type of track this season, while Legacy Yotas aren’t invited to the party. Hmmmm….is NASCAR swallowing the whistle…looking the other way…because Toyota is pumping so much ad money into their coffers?

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!

Now…see how that line of implication can work both ways JGR? What are you HIDING? A scandal as big as any in the history of sports? A breach of trust to the fans who THINK these manufacturers are held to equal accountability on the rules? Maybe fans can launch a class action suit to get to the truth!!

In reality, I don’t believe Toyota is doing anything illegal. Nor do I think Spire has speed because they got “secrets” from JGR. Spire was building up speed and performance last year, and luckily got their car settings to play well with the new Chevy body shape better than other teams out of the gate. Same thing happened when the newest generation of NASCAR was launched…Trackhouse hit on it early and made hay till the others caught up. For the Gibbs whiners to use the Talladega win as evidence of “secrets theft” is as laughable as it is stupid…for anyone who knows this sport. Hopefully this judge will do some research and throw out any clearly preposterous claims.

That's what it looks like to me, another corporate power grab that could have implications for not only the racing world but the workforce at large. One step closer to indentured servitude if a worker can't take his skills to wherever he wants. They will be writing non competes for the whole organization including the custodial workers next.

.....and you will love this.....just like F1--maybe worse given that you can't get an advantage (in theory) with the Next Gen. With all of that being said, Cole Pearn has a pretty good gig....living where he wants, and still collecting a check because he is so ****** good at what he does.

An eloquent post....but you know....all of this could have been avoided his ole Chris hadn't stolen stuff, right?

I wish I could like this post 10 times if for no other reason than using the word spurious!

Trial date set for January '27. HItting the Snooze button.

Why should JGR wait when they could do this?
