    I've watched some plate races from the past and they weren't constantly in a 30+ car pack until they banned tandem drafting. 2000s plate races raced more like modern day Indy racing.     On the other tracks they probably would. It was around the time they stopped doing practive that so many races turned into late-race ****shows, especially im trucks and Xfinity. And of course those camping at the track would get to see the cars more often.

    Whatever they did to these cars since the last plate race I watched worked. This looking more like a 2019-21 Gen 6 race than one from 2022-23.
