What did you think of the Martinsville call?

OK, so maybe he realizes what is happening. What's he going to do about it?

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Drivers and teams come and go, but "my" car make has always been there. If that's not your thing, that's fine, but I totally get where Rev is coming from. The only thing I don't agree with him about is his blind loyalty. If "my" manufacturer screws the pooch, I'll be the FIRST guy to call...

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

Because NASCAR presented the rule (BS or not) as a SAFETY issue. Intent plays no part in it being a penalty or not.

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

Is there no amount of penance this man can deliver that will FINALLY put a stop to all this felon nonsense? He was one of many who participated in an illegal scheme to get some more cars for his dealerships, it's not like he killed somebody. He does more good for people in a DAY than most...

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Pure talent and speed, Larson. Getting it done when it matters? Probably Logano. Go back ten years, the answers likely would have been Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson. Go back another ten, and the answer is probably Jeff Gordon for both.

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Championships don't go to the best driver. They go to the driver that does the best job. Larson beat Elliott like a drum all season, but in the end only 20 or so points separated the two. Same could be said for Byron. At some point you have to do more than just win races and be spectacular...

    Chevrolet next year?

GM is VERY protective of the Corvette nameplate and the aura around it. They have VERY tightly controlled where, when and who races them as much as humanly possible since the C5 debuted in the late 90's. There is about as much chance of a Camaro bodied stock car being badged a Corvette as there...

    Chevrolet next year?

It is my understanding that the car will be exactly the same, it will just carry only Chevrolet branding, no Camaro branding.

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

If the 24 team had no knowledge of the manipulation (if it happened) how can you penalize them? Also, if the 1 and 3 were manipulation, then the 23 likely was too.

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

So we put people into the playoffs now based on talent? Larson missed the cut just like Elliott did. Boo, hoo come back next year and try harder. As for any shenanigans on the last couple laps, unless somebody can demonstrate that somebody from HMS or JGR went to those other teams and asked...

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

If Bowman was going to dump someone to help Elliott, he would have waited another 20-30 laps. The finish proved that the caution came much too early to truly benefit Elliott.

    2025 schedule news/rumors

The couple articles I read made no mention of WHY Irwindale is closing. What's the scoop?

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

I would have to think awfully hard for an example in Cup where his "style" has resulted in a win he wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Most of his wins this year he had the dominant car and it was just up to him not to screw it up. I'm open to suggestions here, but I'm just not really thinking of...

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

I've watched Larson his entire career drive like a maniac, dig himself into a hole, and then have to drive like even more of a maniac to try to dig himself out of it. He reminds me of Paul Tracy sometimes, minus the snotty attitude. Unbelievable talent, but often the proverbial dart with no...

    Hendrick Motorsport News

I think that run by the 24 in the second half of 1998 is the most impressive thing I have seen in my 50 years of watching racing. If it had happened during the era of social media, people, particularly non-Gordon fans would have been absolutely losing their minds. I never would have imagined at...

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

In order to win you have to give yourself a chance to win. Wrecking yourself repeatedly when you probably have the fastest car doesn't advance that agenda.

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Also keep in mind that if the 5 team doesn't get Kyle out of the pits first at Phoenix, he has ZERO championships. Tell me his way is the right way after he has won a couple of these.

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Perhaps, but I have always idolized Foyt and Mears and Al Unser and Pearson and Gordon and Johnson, guys that knew how to win as often as they could, and run top five when they couldn't. Win one week and stuff it in the fence the next is not my style. I'm not Clyde Torkel.

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Help me if I'm missing one, but what race has he WON this year by being crazy aggressive? All I can think of is the ones he lost.

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Has anyone bothered to calculate where Bowman would be if he was still in? I imagine he would still be below the cut line, but those two top tens should have him close enough to possibly advance.
