I fully agree with that. Not to mention how closely Erik is tired to KyBu. I'm willing to bet that if you hate Kyle your not a fan of Erik either.

I know I'm a bit of a homer on this topic, but IMO Erik has had a string of bad luck, mostly not of his own fault, since the Chase started. Charlotte, Talladega and Kansas he was either caught up in a wreck or had an issue with the car which required an extended or multiple trips to pit road...

Was debating on buying tickets but now I might have to make the 6 hour drive down south to see this in person.

I'm actually excited about this race and new track setup. NASCAR getting away from the same-old-same-old is a good thing IMO. Adding a road course to the Chase is one thing but adding a road course that no one has ever raced on is another. I'm cautiously optimistic.
