If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Tony Stewart had an 8% win rate. Jeff Gordons was around 11%

Oh **** off (NASCAR, not you) NASCAR has gone public with being pro wrestling. A legitimate racing series was something they could have (foolishly) tried to defend.... But this? It's reality tv. This is Survivor with Jeff Proberst .. Production planted the immunity idol for Russell...

    Modern day Matt Kenseth.

This is nonsense. I've been vocally critical here of him. And plenty of fans criticize his mistakes. Here as well. But this is what I'm talking about. Elliott fans just have this completely unreasonable habit of criticizing or having issues with Larson fans, and that attitude is NOT...

So, I think Logano is the best in the series behind the wheel... But to your question if "when do we start to question this?"... Well... When the data tells us otherwise... And since joining HMS... As of the Roval (haven't updated my data since then) - 1 championship - 23 wins (11 more...

I think him never winning a championship isn't an outrageous take, at a son agree with it. Although you could have said the same about Brad K. But 10 more wins? Come on man lol

Yeah this is great..I do think Elliott can go off the handle like Blaney. My comment was moreso about their driving style. Elliott is a guy who is just extremely efficient. Even if he isn't able to maximize the car overall, he's going to maximize a run. Blaney is a guy who is just fast and...

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

I think Kyle Busch showed us that talent doesn't make the racecar driver alone. He was an underachiever for most of his career. People forget that. Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart are the only guys in recent years who had Larson like talent with Logano like racecraft. Kyle Busch...

If Kyle Larson is the greatest driver in the world

Totally. It's just frustrating to be taken out by luck.

It just doesn't even have to be an issue. Elliott is a champion. His 2020 season was a lot like Larson's this year. He was probably the 3rd best driver in 2021, he was extremely solid in 2022. He's gonna win another 25-30 races and probably has one more championship left in him. Chase is fine

I'd still give Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart and edge to Larson. But he's up there

    Cup RACE thread: Martinsville

Respectfully, Elliott fans and exclusively Elliott fans take issue with Larson and his fans, and I don't think Elliott fans can speak to that until they own WHY that is. The "told ya so" and chronic distain towards his fans is Jimmie Johnson stealing Gordon's thunder all over again. I genuinely...

Interestingly enough I don't really Blaney and Chase as that similar. Elliot reminds me a lot of Matt Kenseth. Generally really consisted and he's going to finish well, right front kind of driver. He's not always going to win a lot of races, but he is sneaky good. Blane I think Blaney is more...

    Cup RACE thread: Martinsville

What shouldn't be overlooked is that Ryan Blaney over these last 3 years has grown from a fast, somewhat mistake prone driver with a team that struggles with execution to a legitimate top 3 driver in the series and probably favored to win his 2nd consecutive championship. Penske really hasn't...

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

Bob is shilling. Claiming it may be reasonable to suggest the Chevies didn't break the 100% rule is outrageous.

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

Pain. But the worst part is that based on his average points per race, Larson would be up 58 heading into the finale, accounting the missed race. And if we're points racing, he probably concedes the win and finishes second to Blaney last week which means... He would have had more than a full...

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

This isn't true though. Larson wouldn't have been in this spot if he didn't cut a tire at Homestead, or have pit road issues. He went into his worst track in a must win, and almost won.

Yeah, sucks to sleep in a bed you had no reason to make lol

What did you think of the Martinsville call?

Yeah you're entirely right. I remembered that after the fact. This may mean that the option isn't off the table. And frankly, I think NASCAR would be happy with Larson in the final 4. All the Indycar stuff, the Max Verstappen stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if they did it. I don't think it...
